The Omega Flightmaster was only worn on Soyuz14, Soyuz 21 and on space shuttle Atlantis STS-46 in 1992
I have a feeling "" 50 years Apollo-Soyuz Test Project "" is going to be important for Omega... 2025
👍
.
Fascinating, is that your original research? Would love to read it if there's a PDF available. I did go back and look at the Nasa photo archives today and finally saw a good shot of both cosmonauts wearing Speedmasters during the mission.

Hi,
I have just joined this forum to let you know that I have one of these Apollo Soyuz watches.. No 159 which you can add to your list.

Lunar Oyster now offers 286 Serial 30588398

Another one without an Omega extract:

The price seems low enough to intrigue me.

Do the pushers seem small to others? They look a little small to me.

The lume is pretty bad but is consistent with some of the other examples. Seems a bit strange that it degrades so much. Is it something about these batches or production quality for these dials? Is this degraded lume just what a person needs to accept when considering buying one currently? Or are better lumes available in general? (not just a rare example of a really nice dial, which of course will exist and be a premium price, if it's ever available for sale.)

The caseback number. Wierd that it is so worn compared to the rest of the casback and case. A sceptic would entertain the possibility of sanding to make it more difficult to examine it. In particular the Omega symbols look wrong. Is this etched number a concern or acceptable? My spidey sense is tingling but maybe it's paranoia.

Thanks,

"Curious in Portland"

Exactly. Particularly when looking at this picture, I'd be 99.9% sure these are service pushers of the 'normal' diameter. Hence too small for this Apollo Soyuz. Another good explanation, next to the degraded lume, for a slightly 'lower' price. The description on the page also describes the pushers as standard issue 5mm diameter pushers.

My guess would be this is a standard 145.022 with an Apollo Soyuz service dial - I've seen these out there over the years. The caseback is the question. I guess it wouldn't take much to make one, or maybe it's a service back, but I haven't seen them before. Still a nice watch to have at a discount if your budget doesn't stretch to the original.

Hi, nice to meet you all!

I joined Omega Forums mid 2020 but I have not posted.

I own the Apollo Soyuz 468, which is one of the De Marchi's. This watch was shipped to Fratelli De Marchi in Torino, Italy on June 12, 1975 (received June 23, 1975) as part of 158 Omega Speedmaster Professional watches, same batch as AS 416 and AS 461.

At some point (date not known) it was transformed to an Apollo Soyuz. I bought it mid-2020. I have the extract of archives indicating it is a transformed AS.

Attached is a picture of my watch.

I spend more time on Instagram: @cool.side.ot.moon

Thank you!

Very interesting! It is great for owners that Omega have decided to recognise some of these De Marchi watches. It would be great to see the EOA if you don’t mind posting, and what sort of range is your serial number?

The De Marchi version has the same mid case and pushers as the sanctioned Omega cased watches.
