Anyone tried these cheap leather straps?

I'd recommend looking at a vietnamese strap maker. I've bought a few decent ones vncrocsell on Ebay. You should also check out this old thread.

Those straps and deployment look almost identical to the stock straps that come with some of the seiko alpanist and presage models. Great watches but damn it seems they (seiko) cut corners on the straps which I’m pretty sure are also made in China. I’ve heard once they break in they aren’t that bad but I couldn’t take it for more than a week. Very stiff and uncomfortable. I have one unused for a limited presage I got that came with two straps I’ll see if i can dig it up but they really are uncomfortable and my only complaint about those particular seikos
