Well, if you say that also based on font type, I found on internet few models from 1955 with the same font, or precisely same letter 'S'.

Note in my comment above I said ‘superficially similar’. Feel free to post those you find which you think support the originality of the one you showed above but I can assure you it’s not original. And of course you may be looking at other redials…
