The issued pack

Non issued but my daily wear on duty though

and finally, my "retirement from the Navy" watch

Great collection there, and I'm reminded that I really do like NATO straps on some watches, as long as someone else is wearing them. 😁

The Hamilton is an entry-level collectible for sure.

WWI Deck Watch Rotherhams, Coventry. Purchased by Admiralty 1916 sent to Royal Navy Base Suffolk and ending war in Lincolnshire port in Immingham in 1919. Records from National Maritime Museum. Heavy large silver case 55.5 mm. Broad Arrow on dial and movement. Most deck watches were converted to unwearable after the war but this one survived in original condition. Runs like butter.

Nice collection @Ludi … and “Félicitations” on your retirement!!

Ironically, I recently met one of your fellow officers, a pilot, and he told me about a French brand his squadron used to make a commemorative watch: Akrone. I had never heard about it before, but was wondering if you were.

Elgin "Foch". Dial date is 1917.

Unknown whether issued, probably? Case was originalledy blackened, most of which is worn off. Post-war ads suggest this watch had a celluloid crystal, so I asked the watchmaker to use a Sternkreutz plastic.

The strap is a modern reproduction of the original with vintage strapping material. Runs pretty well for a 7-jewel movement. Relumed.

Fun to wear every so often.

Don't have too many, this one is not very rare.

But this one is

And then there is this one with only a partial provenance, sold to me by an older gentleman whose mother's X had owned who had passed away.
Professionally numbered back and a sterile looking dial ???
