So I bought an Omega Geneve from Mexico City for $100 on a whim. 2 months later it arrived and I'm pretty excited about it. Looks to be all original. Crown and crystal look to be original but unfortunately the crystal is cracked at 2:00. I'm going to take it to my watchmaker to open it up and see about replacing the crystal.

Anybody have one of these? Any guesses on what I'll find inside? Cal 1012 maybe?

Any guesses on whether I'll be able to find a bracelet? Looks to be an integrated model. Is this something where a leather strap can be adapted?

Thanks. Here are some pics. - Chris

From a 1975 catalog. Could that be it?

More likely the 1976 version ref 8873 in gelbgoldplaque (yellow gold plated, thank you google). Not a lot of examples out in the world of this watch!! Thanks so much for the ad and the right direction. I'll keep you posted!!

I was able to get a custom made strap from Aaron at Combat Straps. It cost more than the watch but wow does it look great. Wonderful artistry and craftsmanship. I also included my 9 year old daughter's sketch which provided the inspiration for the watch. Now I'm waiting on 10mm spring bars so I can actually wear it! I'll include wrist shots next week!

Love the sketch.
I'll let my daughter know. She'll be thrilled. She wants to be an architect when she grows up. She is truly unlike any other 9 year old I know.

I'd be framing that I think.
Unless she has done something better?
