Anyone have a picture of the box for a 145.022 speedmaster.

I bought a 145.022 speedmaster maybe 25-30 years ago and I have it in an omega box but I have no idea if the box is the original for that model - I may even have mixed up boxes over the years 馃檨

Would anyone know what the original 145.022 box would have looked like?

Sorry. not a very good picture of mine in the (i suspect wrong) box.

The Speedmaster had the 145.022 reference for some 10 years, from the very late seventies to the very late eighties. There would be several boxes possible and correct for your watch, depending on when it was produced and where it was delivered to.

Do you happen to have an Extract from Omega archives? It would help to narrow your search. Or at least your serial (at least 5 first digits).

If it's mid-70s, the ref would be 145.022-7X 馃槈

unless it has a later service caseback, for sure...

I don鈥檛 know about the 145.022 of that era, but my 345.0808 from the late 1980s came to me as shown.

Correct. Mine is a 1976 and the photo I included in my post is what the outer and inner box look like.

May I ask how many box style that ref 145.022-69 come with? Should be the red box and the moon crater box as well?

I think I can count at least three red boxes of different styles (the most common square leather red and later rectangle plastic red with golden OMEGA and logo, the red cube (crater box size) with golden Omega pin) and the Crater commemorative box.

Remember that the dealers received watches separately back then. It was up to them to put the watch in a box they had available on stock. Nothing is potentially wrong, as long as chronologically correct.

I bought the watch second hand and I've never had the watch opened so no idea what serial # it is.

I don't know the exact year of the watch. It has the early 'straight' "First watch on the Moon" text and the dial has the stepped minute track so I assume it's a 145-022-69 or 71 because, I think, by 74 didn't the dial loss the stepped outer track and the case back became something like the current models.

That changes things as it鈥檚 a 145.022-69 Straight Writing. Your box is certainly incorrect. @kov 鈥檚 post above describes the correct boxes.
