Aside from that, while the federal government isn’t loved, Australians do have a particular hatred for people getting special treatment, especially ultra-wealthy foreign celebrities.
This isn't just an Australian thing. This is the one thing the whole world agrees on except for the ultra-wealthy foreign celebrity.
It’s just a bit more acidic and no holds barred here, like every sporting fixture where the Prime Minister gets to present the trophy, the moment he goes up, even if he’s just been elected in a landslide, he gets booed by the crowd. There’s no “respect the office” here, they’ll get called a f*ckhead on camera while walking through a shopping center or get egged by a pissed off local and there’s no wall of secret service protecting them.
I remember a Broncos game a few years back against the Rabbitohs and the big screen shows Russell Crowe and his celeb friends in his box as he’s the owner of the Rabbitohs. Whole crowd was chanting “get f*cked rusty” to embarrass him and he’s just nodding like yea I probably had that coming.

I think your question should be, should international sports stars be excluded from rules governing ordinary members of society. Speaking as a Victorian who has missed under lockdown funerals of close family members, births, milestone family events not to mention being unable to work, and not including the terribly sad stories of others who could not cross State lines to see dying relatives, etc, I’m a little over how film stars can come and go apparently at ease so I’m not inclined to easing rules for anyone. Let alone heavily indulged and self entitled sports stars. This bloke can go take a running jump. Tried gaming the system. Sod off.
I saw that, but - with all due respect to him for his work - would want to listen to a majority among scientists, so as of now this interview doesn’t seem relevant to me. Which isn’t saying there won’t be a change in our position at some point, of course, but I‘d want to wait until most scientists agree that’s the case.
By the way: It’s possible to have an anti-body count of basically zero a few weeks after an infection, too.

The Aussies don’t like people who can beat them,this method of stopping them entering the country could be here to stay.that’s why they chose to live so far away from civilisation.no local competition you see.too scared to come to England to compete in the rugby league World Cup but ok to compete in Tokyo olympics! and winning the ashes at cricket is pointless,they will NEVER be given the iconic trophy and so it’s a pointless competition anyway.
The only good thing to come out of Australia are koala bears,love them so adorable,so cute.but even they hide in trees far away from the general population and to think that Australia was discovered by a Yorkshireman,what the hell was captain Cook thinking!
