Anyone for Tennis - Djokovic situation discussion time ?

This is such a lose/lose situation.

If he stays and plays, he will be vilified by the public, the press, and the politicians.

But for damn sure, I'm gonna watch. And I don't care about tennis. I'll watch for the circus(like slowing down past a car wreck).

The ratings will be HUGE.

If he goes, he's better off and may even appear a hero against what many outside Australia see as a severely, increasingly repressive govt.

But then he won't get the chance he deserves to make history.

So sad all around. Its bad enough the world can't figure out who's a boy and who's a girl in sports anymore.

Novak or anyone else for that matter, should release vaccination status and all previous or current STD’s before they enter Australia. Only logical

Agree with you. Apparently our government is "repressive" yet we strictly follow the rule of law and give the right of appeal. The legal documents submitted for this Djokovic saga are on the court website accessible to the public and we live-stream the court proceedings so Australians and the world can follow in real time. Be interesting to know what other countries do all of this.

Well, to be fair, they haven’t dragged Novaxx’s @@s out just yet…. So we will be doing some more “rubbernecking” until that happens. 😁

I say cut him some slack but I’d be a terrible judge. Even if I was presiding over Jeffery Dahmers case I’d issue him a stern warning like “you eat one more person Jeff and I’m gonna start throwing some years at you. Now get out of here and be good.” So free all the tennis players but warn them sternly and have a real serious look when you do it. I find that usually solves everything.

Excellent, I knew I was missing a piece, over 300 posts in this thread and I think it finally becoming clear how to properly remedy the situation.
