I have sold many watches on Chrono24 as a private seller and always give the buyer numerous shipping options. Only downside for me as a private seller is that there is no platform for positive or negative reviews for private sellers, no matter how many watches you have sold. I have contacted Chrono24 about this and they say that most private sellers only sell a few watches so no need for reviews.
To be a dealer on Chrono24 you must have a VAT number and be registered. To get this you must inform your local revenue office. I would rather deal with the no feedback issue.
I haven’t purchased on C24, but I have sold. I was impressed with the process. I found it to be very straightforward, efficient and far less expensive for seller’s fees than eBay.
