The final 1 is a sort of sub reference, so the full reference is probably best written 20201/1 or 20201-1.
I'm not familiar with the reference but an internet search reveals it was used for the Outdoorsman.

·The classic Outdoorsman reference is 20101. If you are getting hits on @bimbim1207 sales add here on OF it's because of typo in the title, if you read the sales copy or look at pics you will see it's not a 20201 it's a 20101.
I haven't had an extensive look around but offhand I don't think there's any connection between the watch in this thread and Outdoorsman series.

there are many 6 digit time only references from the 40s, and while I haven't studied this issue in detail, I'm not sure they follow this pattern of -X or /X. I think they might just be 6 digit references, meaning not part of a series of 5 digit references

Thanks. I assumed that it was 5 figure reference plus a sub reference because the final digit appears to have been etched/stamped at a different time and in a different font.

the last digit placement and font on the above example is odd, but you see stuff like that sometimes, I don't know why
Just so we document this properly, here's some other 6 digit time only that I've had....
