Any thoughts on the new orange bezel PO?

I really, really dig this watch but am concerned I might grow tired of the orange after awhile. Any owner experiences out there?

To be clear, I’m referring to the new reference with the white dial, not the old orange ones with black dials.

I saw one at the AD’s the other day. It’s a really nice watch. It is a bit of an attention getter and I understand your concerns. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind attracting attention it likely won’t bother you. If you get a chance, try to see and try one on at an AD or Omega boutique.

I had a very similar dilemma a few months ago. Was considering the orange and grey dial PO chrono, but was concerned it might be a bit too "shouty" for me and that I'd grow tired of it. I also tried on the model you're talking about. I'm still happy with my choice of the black dial with orange accents (and sometimes have days when even that feels too much) but... my local AD still has both the orange variations side by side in their store widow. I often walk by and debate whether I'd have been happier with the orange! This isn't going to help and is a massive cliche, but go with the one that makes you happy. They are all beautiful options.

I saw one in the flesh last Saturday. Having thought it was a bit ‘meh’ in images it looked fantastic in the metal. It’s really caused me to have a good think on what my next will be. I did think the PO was due for a revamp, I just didn’t expect to go back to orange.

Choices are between: Speedy Racing white dial, PO and the outsider choice of SD43. I think the speedy racing will be too close to my 9300 Speedy. I’m not keen on the rigmarole and awful experience of trying to source an SD43, so the orange PO is currently top of the list.

I have the old 1st gen PO with orange bezel. The good thing about them is you could easily swap to a black bezel from the same range. I'm not keen on the orange and white but might change my mind if I saw one in the flesh.

All the POs with full orange bezels are too much for me. I like the ones with just the first 1/4 in orange though.

Since you ask: I'm not an owner, but that orange makes a loud statement. Don't buy it if you have any doubts.

I like the orange but don't own one. I'd wear it on an orange rubber strap if I owned it 😀

Fortunately orange has been around in the PO line for years, I think if you find one at a good price you may not take too big of a hit if you tire of it

My first post , I just purchased a Mark ii reissue . I went to the boutique in Orange County Ca. In 2014 and fell in lust . It took me until now to find a magnificent example on Davidsw and pulled the trigger . At the same he had the orange bezel 600m. I nabbed the mark ii but now I want the Seamaster 600m orange bezel .

I think they are cheerful looking and a good pick-me-up on the wrist. Nothing wrong with that especially considering all the seriousness the world is facing right now.
