...just tried this on at Topper, pretty sure this will be my next watch.

Any owners on OF yet? Haven't seen many of these in the wild yet, though I know that not too many of them have made it into retailers yet either.

No 300 hundred for me yet, but I’ve fallen in love with the two ceramic watches I have. With the possible exception of dropping/chipping it seems like the perfect material for a case. Light, scratch resistant, and wonderful to look at. The pics above look great!

Tried one on at an OB a few weeks ago. Lovely watch and it oozes quality. Quite an unique look in the range. Really liked it. But still undecided between it and the PO Deep Black (with nor without Sedna).

Ceramic watches are great but if you damage the case it will cost as much as buying a new one to fix it.

I don’t think it is a material suited to a tool watch that is going to be used as a tool watch. But for a ‘best’ watch that will be treated with care they are fine and will remain scratch free almost forever.

Have long wanted a Blancpain Bathyscaphe, but I'm not sure that's a cooler watch than this.

You'll be fine - I had a DSOTM and while I did really baby it, I read elsewhere on this forum about other's experiences with the DSOTM and one guy I think he was wearing it while doing some construction type work. Couldn't believe it, sounded like a troll, but he sounded serious so people didn't burn him at the stake. And then there are other smaller reports of something like "I dinged it on a door, it was fine". Makes me think maybe I didn't need to baby it that hard.

I have smacked my DSOTM hard against metal door handles a few times, and I mean really hard...so hard that a couple of times metal streaks from the handle were left on the side of the watch case. Once I removed those streaks with a scrubbing pad the watch was, and is, pristine. Maybe a chip will happen one day, but everything has risks, and these ceramic watches look too great to let worry about wearing them get in the way.

Come to think of it, I think it was yours that I read :D

Agreed! Certainly can't take the same attitude now with my steel watches :(

Ditto. Tbh if this model did not have the HEV ‘wart’ I’d have probably snapped one up by now. I might well still do so? But might just take a look at the Blancpain as well.

You’re probably right, I’ve posted similar before. I am leading a campaign for ceramic watch case acceptance ;)
