We can say this differently, without subjective judgement about the watch's appeal. This style of watch is not widely desirable or collectible, so it does not have very much value on the vintage market. If the OP likes it, then it may be a good value for him.

From the point of view of someone like me who buys what appeals and plans to wear it that's good because it keeps the prices reasonable. (Other definitions of reasonable are available.) There's a similar period "TV" case Omega someone posted on WRUW that I'm really looking out for.

It seems that you are not well taken care of. I think you could get a better old watch at a reasonable price. If you ask me, it may not be a reasonable purchase because I could make a better one. But if it's what you're looking for, it's fine
