Swiss (cheese) master
But can I eat Raclette while wearing my Speedmaster? Also will my dog keep trying to eat my watch?

I am 100% confident on an update to the AquaTerra range馃憤. I captured from my Swatch source, but could be wrong, that it would be quite significant.

If Omega do release the Railmaster, I promise NOT to post a Rolex Explorer 2016 vs Railmaster 2017 thread馃檮...though my hunch is that this will be an almost inevitable temptation for some other OF members...馃槈

If a new Railmaster comes out, I'm counting on soneone doing a comparison! I'm holding off on a new Explorer in case a Railmaster does poke its head above the parapet.

Maybe a ceramic 1861, something like this? 馃嵖

Hey @gee_cee you might have posted this as a bit tongue in cheek...but I have taken the bait...and Omega does seem to be desperate to attract the "Millennials" and seem to have reached the conclusion that ceramic is some sort of "magnet" for the younger, less traditional watch buyer...so perhaps they could be considering a future ceramic Speedy LE Pro/FOIS with the1861 calibre?馃槻

With the Speedy LE Apollo XI 45 there is the "engineering" link with Ti being an aerospace material and you also have the clear references to the Lunar module (gold touches), moon surface (grey dial) etc.

The meteorite dial is also a logical option as shown on the Apollo-Soyuz LE.

I may be missing something...but I just can't see any link with "ceramic" and a celebration of a 60th anniversary Speedy LE.

If we were talking about some Space Shuttle program reference Speedy LE then I suppose with the Space Shuttle ceramic tiles you could have a vague justification for the use of ceramic? Perhaps a "blingy" effort? Black ceramic case and bezel with a white-mini-tiled textured dial and black registers? A bit too 116500 Daytona LN copycat though?

Just to be clear here...I have nothing against the XSOTM ceramic line, I think it was a good commercial move by Omega (with too many iterations though) as an effective modern showcase for the 9300 movement, which I imagine will very soon receive a master chronometer "upgrade".

Just struggling to see a connection between "ceramic" and a Speedy 60th Anniversary LE...

I will avoid the temptation to post the initial "comparison" thread...and wait patiently for a "Newbie" to initiate the discussion and calmly from the ringside observe the ensuing onslaught :whipped:from certain OF senior members who apparently "despise" watch comparison threads馃槈...especially if "shock / jaw drop" they involve a Newbie who is not certain as to which watch to buy.馃槻

I will probably join the discussion a few days after the initial thread post, when hopefully the Newbie OP bashing part has ended.馃榿

LOL. Though I suppose a MOG edition could be a mellow Bob Marley reference as well, perhaps with a more suave palette?

This would sell pretty well in WA, CO, OR, and all the other states that have legalized "grass". [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Last time I checked, I was still continent 馃槜

I thought this was about plumbing, and not that kind either.

I thought this was another " can I swim with my
Speedmaster thread" ! 馃榿

Well, there's that too.
