路Hi OF 馃榾
The Cartier Santos moonphase quartz ref. 19901, TT Steel & Gold is a watch I've been interested in for a long time!
I just saw one pop up abit on the cheaper side but the price is explained by the condition, it seems to be somewhat damaged and I wanted to get your input on what you believe could have caused this kind of damage, the dial/crown/caseback and bracelet all seem to have been impacted, here are the pictures:
And here's the description:
"Cartier Santos Ref 19901 Quartz & Moonphase Watch.
Comes with Original Cartier Box and Certificate issued in 1994.
Battery changed on mar/23. Keeping time properly.
Please mind that the bracelet links have been repaired therefore marks are seen mostly in the inside of the bracelet and
much less or none in the outside.
Theres's also one missing screw in the caseback that I'll try to get it as soon as possible.
The crown is a bit to turn so you may need to apply some extra strengh with your fingers."
I guess the movement is less of a worry, the watch being quartz but it stipulates in the ad that the crown is tough to turn...
Cause it be water damage? Fire even? (the bracelet looks like it could have been burned).
Also do you think the dial could be cleaned/salvaged? Same for the bracelet?
Thanks in advance!
