Any help with this serial number?

Just popped the case back off my watch and found a serial number that doesn't seem to correlate with the index of Speedmaster numbers I found online -- too few digits, for starters. Does someone want to tell me that either I purchased Buzz Aldrin's long lost watch or else a pre-moon knock-off -- or perhaps there's a more boring explanation. Thanks in advance for the help! -- Phil

The serial number is on the movement. That's the reference number.

Your watch is a Speedmaster professional made in 1969 or 1970 lol.
