No, really I don’t like a W10 movement. At the other hand, the Pilot Pioneer Mechanical is 100 water resistant. it remains a trendy watch, maybe it should cost less.
The Hamilton I'm going to keep is the 992B. I still have one left to give away or sell. You don't really realize just how small those American wristwatches are until you try to wear one.
My pleasure. Started out collecting Hamilton electrics and late 60s/early 70s models. I've done business with both and have had no issues.
Also: http://www.artdecowristwatches.com https://vintagewatchforums.com/index.php The Hamilton resource center has a wealth of information from many dedicated Hamilton collectors, as well as a sales section. I have purchased from artdeco. Good guy with good values. Better valued ones go fast. He used to update once a week.
Hamiltons have snuck up on me, a couple of months ago I'd barely have recognised the name. For now I have a couple. (38mm auto Khaki Field, H10 version and RR Special electric - so a 'new Hamilton' and an 'old[er] Hamilton' I suppose). Would happily have more of them. Lately been wearing the automatic most days.
Made the mistake of selling one of these a couple of years ago. Took me a while to find another quality example. Solid 14k gold Golden Tempus. Fancy lugs and a unique two piece dial.
