Here's a cal. 2987 issued to the Marine Corps in WW2. Fewer than 3,000 were issued with this movement.

I’have it since almost 5 years, working so well!

This has been sitting on my watch winder for a while and finally put it on. Not sure why it doesnt get much wrist time. It's a handsome watch and great value, really. The leather strap is a quality piece... fairly thick and has held up nicely over the years. The ETA movement is solid and the same one you find in many higher priced models...i think I'll be wearing this one more :)

5D85FC11-937E-4D5A-A973-C99BB11F6641.jpeg Anybody know much about this model? A patient of mine has this old buddy from the 50s, I think. I convinced him to send it back to Hamilton to get serviced and he got it back working like new!

anyone know much about this model?

I'm thinking about one. It appears to wear larger than I would think. How do you find it? Thank you

I guess you can say that. The dial is small yet the lugs extend quite wide. Lug to lug is 50mm which is wider than most watches.

Thank you for that. As I think about it perhaps a better question would be: do you find it big awkward and generally in the way? Thank you.
