any good vegan straps?

Has anyone had luck finding durable vegan watch straps other than NATO straps or bracelets? I'd like to find an alternative to leather, but fake leather products can vary significantly in quality. Nordgreen and Hurtig Lane are the nicest looking ones I've come across so far, but pictures only tell you so much. I also like the look of some dark cork straps, but it's hard to find good-looking ones without leather backing.

Any other options you've had good experiences with? Bonus points for straps that come in smaller sizes for my 16mm and 18mm vintage watches!

Watch Gecko is my go to. They give some vegan options and there are some 18mm I believe.

Check out Fluco's vegan straps. I have no personal experience with these vegan straps, but I have bought a ton of leather ones from Fluco and the quality & customer service has always been top notch so could be worth a try.

I try not to be too fussy. I figure as long as boil my old straps before eating I’m good to go 👍

Technically the leather straps I use are vegan.
They are made out of grass and water 👍

I never thought I would seek vegan straps myself but my coworker has taken a shine to watches and she is vegan. She is like the only person who actually asks if she could hold a particular watch I have on so when I know I’m working with her I will try to wear a nato or rubber strap. I honestly don’t know if that meets the “vegan” criteria but I’m my mind it’s better than leather.
I may try one of these vegan straps I just look at it as being respectful to people you respect beliefs. Our drummer is Muslim so if we go out to eat none of us order pork items it’s never been mentioned nor was it ever a problem but I thought it was cool when my company let me go get ashes on Ash Wednesday so it is just cool to give a little nod to others beliefs.

Bracelets are not leather, too. 😀

I get mine from the rare Stainless bull hide.

Colareb Ecosuede (vegan) comes in 16mm:

I also like the Colareb Sustain line and the Morellato Green Collection.

Canvas is comfy and fitting on vintage military watches:

That does resolve the issue but you don’t, or I guess I should I don’t, want steel on everything and strap changes can be cool so a “vegan” strap might be interesting.
