Or any fisherman I don't discriminate.

After my move from LI to Colorado a looooong time ago I had to switch gears from spin casting to something a little more complicated, because, well Cherry Creek Reservoir is kinda dumpy and I needed a new challenge. Whether I'm using a 7' 3 weight, casting for brookies, or slinging a 9' 8 weight for salmon, really I'm just happy to be outside standing in a river. I still break out the spin caster and keep both in my car at all time because you just don't know when you want to wet a line. I noticed we had enthusiasts of all sorts on this forum and though I'd add to it. Love to hear from fellow fisherman and see some photos of fish and locations and if you want to throw in a watch or two that would be great as well. Cheers.

There is nothing better than putting the waders on and trotting a float down river catching chub/barbel

I'm a Salmon fisherman and own a small beat on the lower river Tweed on the England/Scotland border. I also fish the rivers Till, Tyne, and Wear for Sea Trout and Salmon. I only fish the fly, but just love to be out standing in the rivers.

Any fishermen located in South Florida who could use a top-class rod and reel repairman, feel free to contact me. I have a good friend who has been the choice of more than a few pros (including tour boat operators) in that area for decades. He works out of his house, and also represents good value.

    Oh yes!

In my neck of the woods, I cast flies to Smallmouth and largemouth bass and whatever trout is available...I have a one size fits all 8'6" with an 8 weight weight forward floating to cast poppers, streamers and dries.

My latest catch. A decent Bow caught on a Magog smelt. Lake Sir John, Québec

Awesome. I converted my first fly rod (Cabellas PT 8'6" 5 weight / Scientific Angler 56L) over to a Bass Rig and love it. Bass on top water is beyond fun especially if they come up angry. Great looking Rainbow as well.

I have never fished for sea trout but everyone I know that has says they are a blast. Heres a recent Salmon on a Fly courtesy of my GoPro.
