Any fellas wearing the "ladies" Aqua Terra 34mm?

I had a 36mm Aqua Terra a while back and sold it as it wore a bit too large. I am curious about the 34mm "ladies" versions - primarily the 522.10.34.20.03.001, 220.10.34.20.03.001 and 220.10.34.20.02.002. Are there any men with smaller wrists on this forum wearing these or similar models and liking them? Any other recommendations? Pics?

I'm mildly surprised by that, 36mm isn't really all that large. My Ralmaster LE feels a bit small sometimes and it's 38mm.

I assume you already returned or otherwise disposed of your 36mm model? Sometimes changing from bracelet to strap can help a lot. It'll be lighter, for sure.

My wrist is about 50mm diameter so the lugs on the 36mm go nearly edge to edge. I prefer a watch to wear a bit more traditional in terms of proportions. My 34mm Hamilton is perfect on a metal bracelet.

Ah, I understand perfectly. A vintage watch from the 50s would suit you quite well but I myself also like many modern Omega watches.

It’s a struggle, believe me ;-) I had a 1950 Seamaster for a while and now wear a lovely 60s De Ville. I’d rather not be relegated to wearing only vintage watches. My Hamilton is a 1990s model. A blue dial Rolex Date could do the trick but I have a special fondness for the Aqua Terra in particular.

Ladies’ undergarments is as far as I’ll commit to wearing, thank you very much.

As long as they're NOS.

IMO, the 522.10.34.20.03.001 is just a reduced "normal" (read: male influenced) AT so should be fine. The other two come across as quite effeminate in my eyes due to the very soft and rounded hour markers and crown. Maybe that's just me though, I like baton markers and hands 👍.

I would not mind about the marketing categorization as long as I like it once on the wrist. The first one looks nice.

If they change the gold markers, I'd wear the blue 34mm AT all day. I don't know how 34mm is considered lady's watch now. Even Anthony Bourdain wore a 34mm perpetual. He's a big dude.

Do they have one new or pre owned to try at an omega dealer or OB?

I'll have to check again soon now that some shops are opening again. I believe the dealers currently have the newer versions with diamonds instead of batons. The first photo is the 2012 London Olympics limited edition so I have only seen one or two pop up on sites pre-owned and they are priced way beyond what I'd be willing to pay for this type of watch. In fact, I think I've only seen the digital renderings of that watch and haven't seen an actual photograph. Black dial and white dial variants seem more common on the pre-owned market.

My Speedmaster Triple Date is 39mm, but wears a bit larger.

I also have some 34mm vintage Zeniths which look a bit small on my large wrists, by today's standards. But I still wear them!

Agree. It looks good, but those rounded markers just make the whole thing a bit too feminine. Perhaps they can be replaced?

I just acquired a 36mm AT in the 2500 caliber. I, too, like classic-sized watches. I think a 34mm would be fine -- modern with the teak but still classic in proportions. Let us know what you think after you've tried one on.

I had a Rolex Airking at 34mm 114234. The only reason I sold it was I could not get on with the dial silver on silver. Failing eyesight means I need more contrast. In hindsight I should have just done a dial swap. It wore really well.

Looks like a good fit. I always plump for the 34/35mm watches

Looks perfect on the bracelet!. I'm debating between a 35mm Constellation or 38MM one. 35's have the 2500 movement, and the 38 8500. I'm leaning towards the 38 just need to know where to buy from. Is C&C and or Bobswatches reputable?
