Thanks Wuza - none have the same exact dial, hence my confusion. Apparently slight variations like that don't make much difference in value

I see, so replacement glass, polish, clean dial and hands all a no no in terms of value?
Do you see these for sale often? I personally love the design, and appreciate the craftsmanship and how far they have come since origin, so value isn't so important - however I'm still curious
One point that I think was missed in the discussion was to replace (or not) the crystal. I'd say yes if it needs it, but ask to keep the old one, just in case

Yes there do seem to be dozens of different versions. Some are worth more than others, black dials and waffle dials for instance but in the main originality and condition are the value drivers.
