Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself. I’m a young watchmaker from Germany who likes omega a lot. During my apprenticeship I got to know an old watchmaker who worked in the industry for 50 years. He is still in a great shape but wants to get rid off his collection he collected over the years to enjoy the rest of his life with his wife and travel the world.
Since I’m more into internet and everything I offered him to help him. I have no clue if this is the right channel but since there are some very specific models in his collection I thought I need to share it with you guys!

I’m talking about models like the omega Dinosaure (very thin), some stop watches that were actually used during the Olympic Games in Mexico 1968, A bunch constellations from the 70s, One seamaster marine chronometer, A fancy constellation with onyx/gold case, Omega equinoxe, the first LED omega, Louis Brandt watches, and some more...
All in all, the Condition of the watches are pretty amazing and most of them are like new.

The classy models and cashcows like speedmaster and seamaster are not in the Collection, its more like a very specific one but I believe in this forum could be the people looking for stuff like this!

If I got someone’s attention now, feel free to contact me!

Some pictures of those beauties attached.

Welcome to OF!
To clarify.. are you here on your behalf of your guy, or to hang out here?? It's quite a touchy subject.
Any watches from your personal collection? If so, let's see pics!

I’m here to hang out with you guys and talk about watches. I also own some Omegas myself like the two below.

I know the topic is quite touchy, but when I saw the collection I thought I have to share it with people that are more into the old Omega’s. I wanna learn more about the history of omega and saw the challenge and helping him to sell them.

I really don’t need to sell any of those since there are not mine, but since there are some very specific ones that seem to be very rare I thought the world of omega enthusiasts needs to know about that before it could be to late and no one knows what’s hiding there.

I hope I could clarify it now...

Welcome to the forum ... and I agree - amazing racing dial. I have the "vintage" model which is currently in service. Hope to have it back by end of this month.
