Another Certina will arrive to my stable soon, a rare and minty azure blue DS288. The seller was honest with me and told me an interesting thing:"Thanks for your interest. Normally that would be the case, but this one came with a 25-651M movement, the later improved workhorse of Certina. And as can be seen the watch seems to be hardly worn (as new) so I can only assume it came with this movement and was not replaced (as would happen with worn out or broken 681 movements). I must say that in my opinion the promised innovations of the 681 series did not live up to the expectations in matters of durability,. This movement (the 651-M) runs like new and will serve you for decades"
