Pfft, I've had a slew of home repairs and improvements overdue and found an excuse to snag my Centenary...... and that other 'little' purchase just a few weeks later.

True story, I did a favor for a dealer, he found a watch but the seller would only
do in person sale, so he asked me to make the buy. I met this guy, ex-FBI,
this was the first watch he ever sold(Monte Carlo Home Plate). He told me
he had 2000 watches. OMG. You don't want to know what he paid for the MC.

 

Next step is admitting that there is a higher power, sometimes called The Wife.
