For me the result is ok, the watch is in good working order with even patina. I would rate it fair +, would you comply with that? Your opinion is wanted...
Best, caselock

I'm far from an expert but Fair+ seems like a very reasonable place for this watch. It's an honest looking watch, which to me at least adds a lot of appeal.

Well…I can dive in??
🤦

Following your posts, you seem to have knowledge about vintage Speedmasters.
And this one that you have bought looks nice!
And after the service you have done, it looks very nice!
So Congrats!

Grading it..
Everybody (almost) like to follow Speedmaster101:

Dial,
its not easy to see on the pictures that you have posted,
but I you haven't mentioned any defects, oil spill, scratches or other marks on it.
And together with the condition of the lume,
I would grade it good

Bezel,
Its had a hard life, lots of marks and dings, paint missing etc,
Fair minus

Case and case back,
The brushing on the side are very nice and visible,
but there are many scratches and deep marks on the edges and on top of the lugs.
The caseback looks ok, some marks after an opening, but nothing serious.
I do think that there has been a polish, not by machine, but maybe from a watchmakers cloth during a service.
Good minus

The hand have darker lume, but I have seen this before,
there are some white color thats missing, and you had the second hand relumed.
The crown is a replacement crown (some might argue over this…), not period correct.
I think the pushers are original, since they are dirty/brown around the neck.
These above would make a fair in combo.

The movement looks very nice, maybe a few screwheads got some marks.
Very Good

The crystal does have the old Omega logo, A2 Short Feet, so thats nice!

And the final judgement:
@Spacefruit now patented - Do you like the watch?
And I have looked at the pictures more than once, and it gets better and better everytime!
A BIG I like this watch.

And you also have the nice bracelet.
Nobody really nows (except the first owner) the history about this.
I have a 145.012-67 with a 26.07 mill serial nr, and the extract places it with production year 26 April 1968.
But following your serial nr (25.00 mill) , it would have been produced Feb 1968, and the bracelet is stamped second quarter of 1969,
so who nows?

With all that I have blabbered about,
I would grade this watch GOOD!
You have a cool watch, with a fresh 321 movement, that you have made better!
Enjoy!!

hansaboy, thank you for your evaluation!

And for sure: I do like the watch! All the little scars and dings do not harm its original style and design and make place for some hidden stories of the past. I prefer to have a battered watch that shows the years past by than an untouched museum piece.

And: It is likely to get quite a bit of wrist time since it was produced in my birth year...
