Out with the old on top, and in with the new on the bottom...at least eventually:

Machined from a solid aluminum billet, so it's small but heavy, and it packs a sonic punch! Have to get a handle on what is available streaming and likely set-up a music server from some of the lossless material I've been gathering before I give up my Unidisk. Have not yet completed the room optimization (likely next week) but even right out of the box and streaming on Tidal this is amazing...

Cheers, Al

Saturday morning and I was coming down with a bad episode of BW syndrome.

(BW = "Bunnings Withdrawal", an affliction known to most Aussie blokes).

So I bought some screws, some glue and some wood, but still had an empty yearning feeling in my stomach.

I wandered into the tool section while Ms Darlin' was looking for plants and flowers in the garden area, and then I found this!

It was hard to hide the bright green box when I caught up with Ms Darlin but I showed her what a great sheet of ply I'd got FOR ONLY $31!

I'm glad she doesn't know much about tools, and even less about watches.

馃榿.

I was wearing my AP RO watch when my football team won promotion to the Premier League so thought I'd commemorate it by having an acrylic bespoke canvas painted for me by Mike Brend of http://eleven11prints.bigcartel.com/

Hi
See attached paper size chart. My acrylic is A2 plus the frame which adds about 4" to the length and width

I wanted to clarify my "like" of this post. The bike is great, the manner in which you came to be the owner is one for the books. However, the fact that your wife doesn't know makes you my number 1 hero! Well done sir!

I might have her on a technicality, she was there during the negotiations but I don't think that she believed it. So in reality she already knows馃摉馃榿

However I am still waiting for the right moment to remind her of the incident which I think will be when it turns up at home at a time of my choosing馃槜

I've done this, it's a winner.

"What, you WEREN'T joking?!?"

Usable only once, so it has to be worthwhile. Will also bring an amount of cautioness, note-talking and the use of the straight-out "NO!" into the relationship...

Not watch related, but is clock related.....been looking for a nice one for some time, and of all things I find it at a yard sale. 1962 vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos. Incredible condition. $250. Not too shabby.
