·Good day!
I have a 145.012-67 that I purchased back in 2013. The deal was brokered by my watchmaker with another client of his.
I didn’t know anything about vintage speedies at the time but I knew I wanted one with a cal 321. I would say I’m not in any position to acquire anymore. At the time, I was able to negotiate to just below MSRP for my 3570.50 at the time : $4400CAD.
There was no bracelet with it, so it was just a matter of picking a strap I like and now it sits on a leather NATO.
One thing I haven’t done was have the knowledgeable folk here at OF take a look.
Right off the bat I know the crown and chrono sweeper are service replacements. After reading and studying other posts regarding lume, this looks to be a re-lume to me although the “patina” indicates to me it’s from a while back.
The pushers I know were replaced but the thing that concerns me is how far they stick out.
the only photo I don’t have is inside the caseback but I remember seeing it and it is 145.012-67 as stated. Unfortunately there is some case opening gouges by less than careful watchmakers or by the original owner at the time. Bezel looks correct and seems correct amount of dings commensurate with age.
Is there anything you can see from the photos? One thing I am bad at is assessing the movement even though this is a rather important part of the hobby. Thoughts?
