Is that fluted bezel really solid 18 k white gold ? Are those 3D block 5 minute markers & the rolex crown in white gold too ?
I find it so Amazing & a real privilege to be shown a dial where the Roman numeral IV is engraved as IIII[emoji15]

Most Roman numerals on watches appear that way, referred to as the watchmakers 4 , been used for over 100 years aesthetically to match the 8 on the other side of the dial. 馃槈

It is a ladies size, smaller than 36mm. It is all white gold afaik, i do not pay too much attention to presidents, but she likes it because it is low key. I like it because it is indestructible, and it allows me to indulge in my watches without guilt, cause she has a "gum-low" on her wrist.

路Many years ago my Dad bought my Mum a little Girard Perregaux watch while on a romantic trip to Paris. In 1979 it was stollen during a house move and never seen again. They didn't replaced it as my folks hit on harder times shortly thereafter. Today I finally tracked down the identical model and (all being well) hope to get it shipped to my Mum in England next week.

A Big Shout Out to Roach7 for sending my FedEx package in lighting quick time & I received my 1st ever Speedy a brand new unworn LE Apollo XI 45 on Halloween morning. How 'bout that guys? I had lots on inspiration & support from so many people on the forum & for that i'm grateful. Maybe for the battle hardened hard cores this isnt a big deal but i worked very hard 24/7 to save up & turn my little dream into reality of owning at least one Speedy in my lifetime. One of my earliest posting was a black T shirt that read " I dont own any Speedy.All I have is this Lousy T-Shirt !"
I dont have the time & the proper camera now but made a promise to post some modelling photographs wearing the Apollo XI 45 later. From time to time i'll post photos on the Speedy on related threads..
Ok My BFF , Natasya & Nakhorn thought of turning into "Zombies " with me on Halloween & posting photos on my 0ne & 0nly threat[emoji317]

My daughter doesn't wear a watch, or any jewelry, now, at age 15. But she has shown some interest in mine. It surprised me that she was more interested in my vintage Speedmaster than in the shiny! gold Constellation.
