Why do I keep thinking of Michael Buble and a certain number ? A lovely post and no offence intended.

I frequently tell friends & family that me and Mrs. Jones have a thing going on 馃榾

Might as well get the song and video! Notice that there is a short watch-dial shot in the video.

I don't understand. Over 100 posts by, and about, women and not one recipe???? What's going on here? 馃榾

Maybe some of the ladies here live in the 21st century? No knitting, either, by the way ...

The wonderful-ness of Mrs. Jones could not be quantified by a mere number 馃榾

Although...she's really good at numbers: I often refer to her as the Queen of Excel. She brought me along with her to Silicon Valley last week while she attended a symposium at Stanford University. At the symposium she received one of her profession's highest honours. Here's a photo of Mrs. Jones as we celebrated afterward at a popular Silicon Valley gastro pub. Sitting there and looking at the other restaurant patrons around us, we realized there were probably more geeks & nerds (the two of us included) per square mile than any other place on the planet. 馃榾

Ma Chere @MeganFox,
ladies can kick ass but I'm not sure I'd call it "intimidation". Energetic persuasion perhaps 馃榾?

Glad to hear (...or see...) the ladies! I'm a vintage fine jewelry enthusiast, so my watch journey is short and patchy - joined this forum when I decided to buy a "grown up" watch that accurately represented my love of fine vintage and antique jewelry. I went from a Michael Kors during my undergraduate years to a Daniel Wellington after graduation to my little 14k vintage Omega Sapphette right before graduate school (now). Picked up a vintage black dial ladies 18k ygp Cartier Ceinture not too long ago as well.

So interesting to read about the discussion on ladies watch size preferences, as my watch choices seem to have gotten smaller! I wear my little Sapphette almost every day - I like to stack vintage bracelets on both wrists, and being petite, a large watch takes up too much valuable real estate. 馃榾 I'm so happy with the Sapphette - I don't like nylon bands as I wash my hands frequently and the feel of a wet band is extremely uncomfortable, and a plated/stainless band paired with a solid gold case seems... strange. That's why I think my little Omega was a very lucky, very happy find for me, even though I believe the bracelet to be added after - it's also 14k, and soldered to the watch's original 14k buckle. I don't wear the MK anymore, although it's still in my jewelry box - a bit sentimental about it as it was the first "expensive" thing I bought for myself after my first job out of college. The DW stopped working and is back in its box - not worth the price I was quoted to fix it. I'm discovering now that this [vintage] watch thing is quite addictive...!
