Dear @Optimizer13 Wow..That Rolex is just Gorgeous ! Is that her favourite piece ? Hey A Pie Pan Constellation ! Love it (since i'm gonna get the Blue Connie[emoji14] ) Sooo... since her standards are high does that apply only to the watch...or.. ..she has high expectations of you as well....[emoji41]
Youre going to get the globemaster? Thats a lovely watch! Its pretty big too.. I'm not 100% sure but it might be the datejust...though she hasnt wear the seamaster that much since the strap is large...
Hey IvanHoe @Tritium Just curious ..Any particular reason why Mrs T doesnt wear a wristwatch...? I mean if a timepiece that reflects her personality comes along she would right ? Where are your daughters watches[emoji36]
Hey @Tritium I think i know the perfect birthday watch for you. Your daughters need to take a Hint ! It's Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Planeterium timepiece ! If you know what watch brand Michio Kaku is wearing please tell me ok ?
Not any particular reason, and the right timepiece didn't show up yet, but I prefer not asking too much... This way is much cheaper They're actually the watches I collected for my daughter, but I couldn't get her for the picture... I owe those pics!
Love the watch, but at this price I'd hope an xcor lynx space flight experience instead Just googled kaku's watch with no result. At least not what I was looking for...
Oooooh.....DIBS!! I've wanted one like that for a while. Kicked myself when I found one had sold for 200 $ two months prior on EBay..... (rubber gaskets had melted all over the rim of the movement and probably drove unknowing buyers away --but the movement looked fine). A few more female shots.... Question for the ladies: Since women have genetically smaller wrists, do you prefer smaller watches or larger watches. I myself have a small wrist, but I fall in love with large watches.
Better half not too interested in the collection, and I prefer it that way. However gifted her this one lately..... Her first "proper" vintage. Actually a "mans watch", but late 1950s men did not have the same need to over-expose as we do today.

I've inherited large size watches from by brother's collection so trying on big watches are no big deal to me. It's a pretty common sight to see ladies in Malaysia , Singapore, Thailand & Philipines wearing watches between 40-52 mm watches. It also depends on the occassion dressy or sporty whether you want to be all dainty or roll up your sleeves & get right down dirty ! I can pull it off wearing my Casio Rangeman 53.5x55.2x18.2 mm in a marathon run. Few years ago i almost lost my Coach Satchel bag to snatch thieves if it werent for my beloved PO Ti LM 45.5 that i was wearing at that time. As the pillion rider tried to grab my bag , i guess it was great reflex action as i slashed the pillion rider square across his face . He lost his balance & fell off the bike ! ... my Omega Ti had made a deep bloody lacerated wound on his chin ! Ch^eri @Syrte Waltham A17, 1956 US Military pilot Watch Ouaouhhhh....Oh La La... Le Waltham d'horlogerie c'est beau...! Tue es Magnifique ! My French is hopeless so Pardonne-Moi
Hi Megan, your French is adorable-- it's a pretty watch but I'd be hard pressed to club an attacker in the face with it. You rock-- and you've just made the best argument I've heard so far as to why one might need to spend any funds on a high quality modern watch. Other than that, it's a piece of jewelery and there's nothing a cheap quartz watch would not do just as well.
