I've been putting off getting my 300m grey with blue strap and now I want this blue orange aquis. Am I crazy?

The Oris dials just look so dynamic!

Oris makes a good watch at good price points, and that Aquis has the bonus of being a GMT.

Yes, you are crazy to want more than one watch.

But you aren't crazy to want this Oris GMT. I just bought one yesterday. It should arrive in a week or two. I'll add some wrist shots when it gets here.

This seems like a great travel watch. Solid build and no one is going to cut your wrist off to sreal it. Waterproof for swimming and the GMT for different time zones while traveling. Perfecto.

Thanks I might just pull the trigger. I'm just used to Omega quality so is there anything I should be worried about with Oris? I know the movement is lackluster...but anything else?

pdxleaf did you buy on strap or bracelet? I hear their bracelets are pretty good, but I also think this might look even better on dark blue strap. I might go ahead and get both, but not sure about the orange one.

Looks nice, but fails in the integrated bracelet lugs for me.

You can never throw it on a simple NATO

Went for the bracelet. My understanding is that you can add a strap to a bracelet but not a bracelet to a strap watch. I might add a strap later. I am not a nato fan so that isn't an issue for me. Natos seem too thin for me visually. But that's just me.

Totally agree. I don't get the nato on this watch. why do I want it? If omega and oris have amazing rubbers I'll do that!

I'm getting bracelet plus either blue or orange strap, but still deciding.

Yes, you are - but only because you’re opting for the Aquis instead of the 65

I got mine already but the strap is thick underneath. I have a seven inch wrist and it seems like it cant get any smaller. Am I supposed to cut it or what?

Great watch, congrats. My old faithful TT1 chrono is still running strong, Oris is a really good quality/robust/well made brand.

Congrats. So what are your impressions? Any surprises? How does it feel on your wrist?

Hey thanks! It is a looker for sure and in the sunlight especially. It fits well but the rubber strap is pretty thick which I'm not quite used to since it is doubled up underneath on one side, but not the other.

I have a bracelet coming too but I think it looks better on strap. It gets a lot of positive attention which I'm not used to my watches getting lol.

Mine arrived today. I didn't get the same LE GMT but got the straight GMT. It was heavily discounted so I went with this instead, although I like the looks of the additional orange markings.

Like most watches, it's more attractive in person. The dial color is darker than the pictures (which I like as it gives it more substance) and the color changes from the blue to more purple and almost black, depending on the light.

The size is bigger than the speedy, as expected, but it doesn't feel large, even with the added thickness. I haven't adjusted the bracelet so it is loose in the wrist shots. (Also, I had not removed all the plastic covering bits so the bracelet didn't shine as much in these shots.)

While I purchased it to take traveling, including to the beach, it's so pretty I am afraid I won't be brave enough to take it out into the surf and sand. Maybe after it gets it's first licks.

This is my first Oris. After reading the reviews about alot of watch quality for the money I decided to take the plunge. After opening the box and seeing it and feeling it on my wrist, I am glad I did. (Crazy lume brightness! Something the speedy lags behind.)

(Time set to Pacific standard with GMT to Germany and bezel to East Coast USA.)

It took me a little while to warm up to Oris and the case/bracelet styles but I became a huge fan. They are some very well made and snazzy looking watches. 👍

Nice pdx what size is your wrist? I'm 7
I have bracelet coming too.

Also 7.

Reviewers said the shorter lugs helped to tone down the perceived size. That seems to be true. Even though it looks bigger on my wrist, it doesn't feel like a hunk of metal overlapping the wrist. But i need to get it adjusted before getting too excited about the fit.

Same here it looks a lot bigger than it feels, but still feels big. Maybe compared to the light rubber strap...
I'll see when bracelet comes I guess. My other huge watches aren't circles so maybe that's why this looks and feels bigger.

I’ve got 6 Omegas (had a lot more) and recently bought my 3rd Oris. And the next one is already on the horizon (the First model with the new in-house calibre 400.
