Well the bracelet on my new Seamster is being sent back to Omega since the clasp failed. I ordered a rubber strap at the same time but it is on back order. So what other straps do you guys rock on your seamasters? 😁

Very nice that they would just take the bracelet and not the entire watch - several other posters had to send the whole watch back for this repair.

You can never go wrong with a NATO strap (unless you hate them, of course 😉 ), and you can probably find lots of sellers who can ship them pretty fast. I like BluShark, but there are dozens of sellers. One thing to remember, though is to NOT use the spring bars that come with your bracelet - those are actually 19mm in order to fit the bracelet. You will want 20mm bars, so make sure to order some as well if you don’t have any.

It will also look fine on a leather strap, and that gives you lots and lots of options. I like Hirsch and Rios1930 - both are high quality and not too expensive. They both offer sports straps that are more water resistant than standard leather, so would look good on a Seamaster.

Thanks! I would have never thought that the spring bars would be different. The jewelry store said they could just send back the bracelet so hopefully that works out. ‍👍

After digging around I actually have this Rios1930 shell cordovan that I think looks decent enough to try out. So I need to not use the spring bars left in? I need to get new 20mm?

I think the Seamaster is similar to my Speedmaster in lugwidth (20mm) on which I use 068ST2207 for bracelet and 068ST2208 for NATO and leather strap

looks nice. Yes, you need to make sure you have 20mm spring bars. The ones on the bracelet are only 19mm. They work on the bracelet, because of the end piece, but could come loose if you use them with a strap on a 20mm lug watch.
