Breaking news ;) -> OMEGA steel mesh bracelet with deployant clasp

Went to Warsaw Omega boutique today to buy a bracelet for my Aqua Terra Small Second (in separate thread). I was shown absolute novelty that arrived today -> NTTD style mesh bracelet with deployant clasp made of steel, working obviously with SMP300 Diver but also many other watches.

Bracelet will be available in 19/20/21/22 mm lug-to lug. Straps available also in 3 or 4 (don't remember now) different lengths for different wrist circumferences.

Price in Warsaw 3.050 Polish Zloty ~ €670 -> that includes the strap & clasp, so not so bad.

Standard deployant clasp for leather / rubber straps will probably not work, since on the NTTD and this one there is a special flap / little clasp with pin, that will keep proper size.

Unfortunately I could film it only in a package, since it was new, not yet registered for sale and we could not open it.

I tried the NTTD Seamaster and was somewhat disappointed that the bracelet didn't fully articulate. Will this one be true mesh?

Nice but struggle to see how it would match and blend with watch like SPM300

To create some imagination you obviously need to look at recent NTTD "Bond" version.

I also bought some time ago an after market mesh bracelet, not same quality of course (OMEGA version was not available then), but video below will give you some glimpse of what it will look like.

I am pretty sure that MESH bracelet on Omage Diver is very controversial, some will love, some hate. Just have a look and make your own opinion:

Is this the same bracelet that some folks say creates too much “thickness” below the clasp, on the NTTD model?
