Hi,

I am having issues with my Seamaster and would like some advice. So, I am getting spotting on the hands, and lost luminescence, should I look at getting these replaced? If so, any recommendations as to why handles these issues? Really wanting to change the face to white from black, too. Second issue, I am needing additional bracelet links and our friends at USPS managed to lose my spares. I don’t seem to be able to watch them up, to looking online, so should I just get a new bracelet? Seamaster circa 2001-02.

Thanks,

I would suggest you send your watch to Omega for a full service. You can do this through any Authorised Dealer.

If the hands are damaged they will surely be replaced, and the watch will come back refreshed as new, waterproofed and with a two years warranty. Mention that you need extra links and they will include them in the service. Replacing the dial to white will probably be a no go from the official service, though (are you sure this model came with a white dial too ?).

It will cost a bit of money, but it is worth doing, as your watch (known as the pre-Bond Seamaster by collectors) is likely 10 years older than you think....
