A friend who owns a jewelry store called me yesterday. He told me he had a customer walk in and scrap a gold watch. I then went to look at the bracelet and went ahead and got it for the melt value and added it to my speedmaster. It definitely has a saventies and eighties vibe. Please let me know what you fine people on the forum think of the addition. As always wear them in good health.

It’s a No from me. Looks a bit busy
I have to say I agree it is busy. It does give a more jewelry touch. But it does look better in person. For some reason pictures do make it seem more busy.

IMO the braclet is older than you expect - looks more like 40s or 50s

Serious bling. Not my style but definitely has the retro look.

What was the rest of the watch that the seller scrapped?

Yes it needs a new stem and crystal. It runs but I would recommend a service.

Just stunning a little bling but still on the classy side. You have it on the right watch. An opportunity well taken.
