Greetings,

I have been gifted an Omega Flightmaster as a family heirloom. I am new to mechanical watches, but I am picking up information quickly.

I am looking to:

1) Service the watch. The intent is to pass this watch along in the family and I want to be a good steward of it.
2) Find an appropriate bracelet, preferably Omega. I don't know if any current manufacture Omega bracelets would work.

This watch has likely not been serviced in some time, possibly now 50 years. There is an Omega AD locally through which I can send it to Omega for servicing. What should I know about this process?

I have picked up the book Flightmaster Only. As best I can tell the watch is a ST 145.013 “TRANSITION 1” (1971) as described here: https://www.watchbooksonly.com/articles/watch-reviews/transitional-flightmasters/

I have included pictures for reference.

Hello, nice to meet you.
Welcome to the forum!😀

When requesting service from OMEGA, be sure to request that the replaced parts (hands, dials, crown heads, etc.) be returned to you.
These parts will be used to restore the watch to its original condition, so please keep the returned parts.
