Selling my vintage cal. 910 flightmaster, ref. 145.013. Watch is in very good vintage condition and a nice daily wearer, but it is not perfect. Please read detailed warts and all description.

    IMG_2807.JPG

Case is in great shape and only shows minor wear and has some superficial scratches but no nicks or dents. Appears unpolished with sharp edges and distinct sunburst brushed finish. Caseback is original and in very good condition showing both the flightmaster jet logo and the brushed finish that matches the rest of the case.

Dial is type A5 (dots) and in good shape with tritium lume intact and aged to a very attractive patina. PLEASE SEE PHOTO OF 9:00 SUBDIAL BELOW. There is a white paint smudge next to the number 24 on the subdial. I don’t know if this is a factory error or a poor touch up attempt but given that the rest of the dial appears untouched to me I would guess factory error…I included a close-up photo, so you can decide. It honestly is difficult to notice while wearing it though.

Hands look original to me with all lume intact and aging attractively. Crowns appear original, and the GMT and bezel crowns have their paint intact. Pushers are original but missing the red/orange paint.

Crystal and bezel are correct and original. Minor scratches on the crystal.

Movement was fully serviced by an independent watchmaker in 2018 and is running well. Under warranty until July 2019. Serial number is 31634XXX. Sorry no pics of the movement, my rubber ball opener isn’t getting this one to budge. Serial dates this one to 1971 and is congruent with the dial and case, making this a later 910.

Comes on 1159/155 bracelet in good condition. Bracelet will fit a roughly 7-inch wrist, 7.25 if you like it snug.

    Issues
    • There is a white paint smudge on the 9:00 subdial
    • Pushers missing some paint
    • Minor scratches on the case and crystal
    • No box or original papers (I have service papers from 2018)

    Positives
    • Very sharp original case
    • Original bracelet
    • Movement fully serviced in 2018 and running well
    • All functions (winding, setting, chrono start/stop/reset) as expected

Overall this is a very nice example. Not often do the dial, hands, and case look so well preserved.

    Provenance
I bought the watch from a fellow collector in 2018. No idea how many prior owners. Since purchasing it I had it serviced, but no parts were replaced.
    Comes with
    Watch, bracelet, service papers

(was $4200, then $4,100, then $4k) ----SOLD which includes domestic US shipping. NO TRADES PLEASE. Please contact me via pm with questions or offers.

I will consider selling the watch head only, but I won’t entertain offers on the bracelet only until the watch is spoken for…

    Payment

Wire, cash (watch and I are in the Chicago area), Paypal if you have references

    Buyer
I prefer selling domestically to keep things simple. I will sell internationally on a case by case basis (in other words, buyer needs solid recent references and must accept full customs declaration and cover extra shipping cost). Buyer must have solid references.

    Returns
No returns unless watch is grossly misrepresented. Selling as-is with no warranty other than the balance of my watchmakers service warranty (good until July 2019). I make no promises as to water-resistance, expose it to water at your own risk.

    References
I’m an individual collector, not a dealer, and have no affiliation with Omega. I have been active on watch forums for several years and have numerous references as a buyer, trader, and seller. I have perfect eBay feedback, where I have also bought and sold several watches.
