Hello,
I have acquired this Omega watch recently. I have found one similar online with Omega written on the face but I am not able to find anything with just the motif. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Yours has possibly had the text/minute markers removed during an attempt to clean the dial.

Hi Davidt,
thanks for your reply. The looks clean and has no marks on it that would suggest it ever had the name on. Did Omega ever do custom orders for customers?
Cheers

The surface of the dial would have been smooth and glossy originally.

I can see a dark black (near) circle right under the Omega logo that is likely where the "G" in "OMEGA" once was. (Edit: actually that would not be the right position of the G, so I'm not sure what that is/was). Also, it may be coincidence, but some of the white specks around the perimeter seem to be remnants of minute markers - most notably between 6 and 7. (Edit: based on later comment, that must be coincidence!)

Looks like a rather poor attempt at refinishing. Never say never but I don't believe this reference was offered with a black dial.

This reference had no minute track.

I also think that this watch was the subject of a redial.
