Advice on this black dial pie pan constellation

Hey guys,

I have been offered this watch. My initial thoughts are the case has been polished quite heavily. I think the dial looks very good, BUT some of the minute markers look misaligned and the crosshairs also doesn’t align at the 6. Does this look like a redial to everyone else?

thanks,

Julian

Hi Julian,
IMO it's a redial, just look at how the arrowhead markers don't match the indices.
Judging from the picture and counting in the position of the shadows, I'll go for redial.
In addition: the minute markers remind me of a pie pan which this dial isn't.
Don't forget to assess every black dial as a redial as these are very common, unfortunately.
Best,
Stephan

Edit: Wow, there's already a reply from a very respected member. It seems as I wasn't fast enough... 😉

I feel stupid looking at the photos now. I just assumed it was a pie pan and it is most certainly not. Could also be a Franken of some kind. Cheers for everything.

In addition, the hands are wrong.

I saw that but I figured it was something I could live with. I got excited too quickly and jumped the gun I guess.

Did you buy it?
And what was the asking price?
Best,

Look at the curly n's in constellation and than look at yours. Any difference?
