Hi guys, Found this 2852 black dial, the pictures are not the best but that all I got. I don't have the movement serial number but will check it later.what's you guys think about this one? Does the watch seem original? I really have no experience with black dial so will need your opinion Regards Ko
These Constellations with the arrowhead markers and no date are a special favorite and the black dial would be so nice. I've been readin' about and lookin' at a lot of these in more recent times but that doesn't make me expert enough to pass judgement. It sure has some attributes that seem to point to original. We'll wait for an expert to come along and set us right.
I am not sure if it is the angle of the picture or the picture quality, but the minute markers seem off. They look a little untidy. Is the pie pan edge supposed to look so roundish? Anyway I am also just a noob. Looking forward to hearing the opinions of others.
Looks okay to me. Looks like there's a bit of pitting on the case back, but even after having been polished the case is still relatively sharp. This model is a tad early for a BOR but it looks nice. Cheers Desmond
That's a nice one. Case not untouched, but the dial is great. I'd negotiate, but not leave it too long if you like it.
$1,600 sounds right, I got this a few months ago in m2m for $1,850 https://omegaforums.net/threads/ome...–-complete-with-box-papers.22436/#post-244083 Mine is about 10 years younger so doesn't have the arrow markers but did come with b&p Also agree with Desmond the BOR may have been added but looks good on it, I put one on mine as well
Wow, that is a nice black Connie....I know you just gotta but I cannot resist...dibs please By the way where did u get it froM....m2m?? Cheers Ko
I generally like the watch, but have some concerns about the dial. Compare with the white dial version shown here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/incoming-only-a-12-month-wait.24945/ Could just be the photography. On an original dial, facets of the pie-pan should be sharp or not at all. All BOR bracelets were optional. This one has the adjustable clasp which is one of the earlier ones. Good chance it's original, or at least period correct. gatorcpa
Don't let it slip away. Bargain it down if you can, but I believe a lot here would pay more for it, me included.
Bro, if for some reason you do not end up with this, I'd be interested to pursue this. Looking to get my first 2852 as well. thanks
