Hi! I am a new member to the forum and was interested in buying a vintage omega triple calendar moonphase. I found this piece on ebay and was looking for advice on it. How much of it is original? It is being offered at 2500usd is that a good price? Thank you for your time!

Well it's a redial, so I wouldn't consider it at any price.

I think at or around the $2.5K mark you should be able to find a 2471 with original dial.

I agree with Cristos, the blue date numbers on the outside don't look crisp and the 7 looks like it overlaps the sub-dial slightly, which wouldn't be the case on a factory finish original dial. The blue date numbers look very spaced out between numbers 1-10 and then suddenly the spaces get very close together as if they've realised they are running out of space. The hands also look like they are replacements, personally haven't seen another one with lume on the hands at all. These Cosmic moonphase watches are a minefield of redials, I would be weary of most that you see on the open market as due to their age they are very unlikely to be fully original.

Just curious how could you tell its been redial?
Most telltale to me is the radial "flip" of the date numerals at 10 and 23..

This is probably how the original dial looked like:
