Advice on Lange needed. ETA: Found one!

I'm looking to pick up my first Lange and based on what I've read about their movements and also having tried on a few for size, I've narrowed it down to the 1815 Chrono or 1815 Annual Calendar. Both are well received and appear to be a good starting point for a manual Lange that will not only wear well, but is, perhaps, better known and regarded for their movement.

Aside from the boutiques, would there be any advice on where would be the best secondary market to find one?

Thanks.

HI!

You may want to check out chrono24.com just to have an idea of what's out there, and their asking prices.

The US dealer, Keystone, has a 2nd Gen 1815 chronograph for sale - https://thekeystone.com/products/a-...aph-watch-402-026?_pos=5&_sid=14751f3d5&_ss=r
EWC has some 1815 chronographs for sale too - https://www.europeanwatch.com/a-lange-and-sohne.html

Happy hunting! And do put up some pictures when you find what you want.

Chye

Perfect! Appreciate the links and heads up!

No problem. What's your question?

Shit. Wrong forum. Never mind.

Not bad, but I've seen better today! 4/10 for effort 😁

We went to NYC over the holidays and I picked up a new AC:

It wears really well and I do like the brown alligator for a more casual look!

Nice! Any picture of the movement?

Thanks! I was planning on taking one with a better resolution camera, but it's a typical Lange with the three quarter plate and exposed balance cock/oscillation system.

Yeah OK that's nice, but what are you going to wear on the other 6 days 😕

IMHO Lange movements are on par or even better than Patek and I've owned them both 😀

I agree about the comparison between Lange and Patek. I would even take it another step forward and say Lange'squality and design is superior to Patek since Thierry Stern and his wife have taken over. Just my opinion.
