Dear Omega Folks

First of all, hello! I am a new member to the Omega forum, so let's introduce me really quick.
I'm 22 years old and have been eating and breath vintage watches since the day I bought my first Omega Cosmic gold plated manual wind (ref 135.017) no date on an auction in Italy. Eventually did I sell this Omega to acquire something more expensive and repeated this proces many times throughout the years to get to enjoy some very nice pieces.

Right now am I seeking expert advice on an Omega SM300 Big Triangle ref 166.024, the example I am looking to buy has some 'problems' I think. But if I can buy it at a fair price and restore it maybe can it be an interesting watch for me? Or possibly is this watch totally a 'Frankenstein' example? I have some points that are not correct, but maybe you can help me further.

- The secondhand is incorrect (or maybe the whole hand set?)

- The 1171 bracelet is incorrect (not a big deal for me)

- The bezel has been swapped with an aftermarket example

- I have my doubts about the rather 'special' shield around the HF stamp, I couldn't find a similar example

- I have my doubts about the feet of the Omega logo that appear to be pointed up wards, while on the examples I found they were almost all flat (with so far one example having a similar style logo).

- I have my doubts about the 'E' in Omega that has a short middel E, while all examples I found have an even E in length

Thank you in advance taking the time to read my first post and if you could provide some input on helping me get the original parts from the aftermarket parts sorted.

The dial, hands and bezel are all fake, the movement is a genuine Omega one but unlikely to be from a 165.024 originally. Given the other parts, I'd assume the case is fake too and steer well clear.

Agreed. Stay a long way away from this one, it’s fake except the movement and 1171 bracelet.

Fake. Run away.

Dials are getting a little better unfortunately.
