Hi all, my name is Nicolas, I’m very new to the world of vintage watches but I’m looking to start my journey with an Omega Constellation pie pan crosshair. I’m still negotiating the price, but it’s likely to be around USD1300. I’ve noticed this watch comes in a wide range of different variations, and sometimes is tricky to know whether is a good deal or not. This is the watch I’m interested in right now.

The case seems heavily polished, specially on the back. I don’t know how much that affects the value. Any insight from you is really valuable for me! Thanks a lot!!!

Pass on it. This watch is rough. Hands are incorrect (minutes and seconds too long), case has been severely polished, and crown is very incorrect. At $1300 you should be able to find a decent gold capped example with some patience.
