Advice in buying Omega Seamaster

Hey guys - I'm new to this platform and already hooked! I was wondering if y'all could help me out. I have a chance to buy this Omega Seamaster Automatic from an online buyer for around 350$ (too good to be true?) without box and papers. As far as my research goes I think this watch was produced in the 1970s and goes by reference LL 166 0206. Are there any concerns regarding a potential fake or scam? The dial has clearly seen better days, I somehow think that's the beauty of it. Appreciate your help!

Hi @scherrerer

I have nothing to contribute with regards to your watch in question. But interesting avatar, is it also your watch?

Hey @scherrerer ,

Too bad you changed your avatar, the former one really reminded me of a certain dealer from Vienna...

I am afraid I cannot help with the watch...

Buy the seller not the watch. Ask where they got it. Do a screen share, get their ID. Once you get it, have it authenticated just to be sure. It can be hard to spot a fake without looking at the movements.
