Advice for newbie. Genuine or replica

I have recently been introduced to the highs and lows of buying second Hand Omega’s!
Photos below. I bought this believing it was genuine but now have the fear. It is a gift for a friend that recently lost a sea master. I would love some advice to the authenticity of the watch before I hand it over. Can anyone give me some guidance? Seems to be banks of experience here

Looks fine. These quartz watches were not usually repainted as they aren't quite as desirable as their mechanical counterparts.
