It seems like unlined canvas pockets could possibly scratch the watch crystal?
For example, this one from Hodinkee is unlined (and overpriced) -

This one is actually a tool roll, but has been recommended for watches and again is unlined
It's pretty nice.
Holds 4 tool watches at a squeeze, but more comfortable with 3.
