I've been keeping my eye out for one of these travel pouches that can keep 4 watches. I found one that I absolutely love, made by discommon goods http://www.discommon.com/goods/the-watch-roll-tech-black The only problem? It's $300. Though seemingly outrageous, I am starting to inch closer and closer to buying one. I really hope to not spend this kind of money on a travel roll, so I am looking for some other suggestions Some of the features I really like (in the order of importance) 1. It alternates in watch orientation - e.g. buckle-watch-buckle-watch. 2. It locks securely. 2. It's padded so slightly shock resistant 3. It's slightly water resistant Are there any recommendations that's more affordable? Thank you!
I bought two from curiosupply.com, the owner is a member on this site. They are leather and hand stitched. They were the nicest ones I found when I was looking.
I'm awaiting delivery of one of these, £110.00 / $150.00 https://www.pageandcooper.com/watch-valuables-passport-holder-1517/
I have never been a fan of watch rolls. They look good in photos, but for me, there are much better options for both regular storage and transport. YMMV.
I went for one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221983227015?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network cost £10 and does exactly what i want/need!
Do you put that in your bag at all? How well made is the opening flap? With my luck I'm too afraid it would get pushed in and damaged.
I haven't had it long enough to do any actual travel with it yet. It feels sturdy enough though and I'd only ever have it in carry-on anyway
If you travel a lot and swap hotels and stuff, maybe try going for a box that doesn't say "OPEN ME! EXPENSIVE WATCH INSIDE!". Just my honest opinion. Go for something less conspicuous.
Ha! I just realized this came through on the Omega forum and not WUS. I normally hang over there since I sold my Omega. Anywho, for a weekend trip where I am probably taking one watch but straps options, I like to use my cable wrap roll. If I were taking more than one watch I might adjust. So it just depends on what you're going for. Avery
Easy, checks all of the boxes and is cheap. http://www.nalpak.com/Pelican-1400-10-Watch-Case?&search_id=611291
I place all of mine in wolf rolls and a travel a lot!! Never let me down in 2 years and still like it was when it was new.
