·My Seamaster Chronometer is going to Omega for a full service mainly because the
movement is not running to spec: when I bought the watch many moons ago the vendor's observation was that "it could do with a service" so fair does that time is now.
The black dial has a spotty cast to it which you've got to work quite hard to see fully and these photos do no more than give a taste.
I don't think there s anything nicely "tropic" about the dial and though my default setting is preserving originality, I think the dial detracts from the watch: am I wrong?
